Watch the trailer for Kindergarten Cop 2 starring Dolph Lundgren

Kindergarten Cop 2: The Reimagining stars Lundgren as Agent Reed (we hope that’s his first and last name), who must go undercover in a kindergarten classroom to recover a stolen flash drive.

Why isn’t Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his cult-favorite ’90s role for Kindergarten Cop 2?

Kindergarten Cop 2 premiered a first trailer Tuesday on Entertainment Weekly.

Throughout his four decade career, worldwide superstar Dolph Lundgren has never faced a threat quite like this. Not always the most happy fellow, the gruff, by-the-numbers Agent Reed finds himself taking on not only a rowdy class full of kids, but also the school’s liberal, politically correct environment.

All those unanswered questions from 1990’s KINDERGARTEN COP are about to be answered! It is unknown at this point whether Kindergarten Cop 2 will share any continuity with the original film outside of the title and identical premise.

Bill Bellamy (Any Given Sunday, TV’s Hot in Cleveland) also stars alongside Lundgren in the action-comedy directed by Don Michael Paul (Jarhead 2: Field of Fire, Tremors 5: Bloodlines) and written by David H. Steinberg (American Pie 2, Miss Dial). Are you going to check this one out or is it just a shameless cash-in?
