Movie executive Duncan Jones is a son of song fable David Bowie. Bowie died in Jan 2016 and Jones has motionless to launch an online book bar in respect of his father.
Jones tweeted, “My father was a best of a reader. I’ve been feeling a building clarity of avocation to go on a same literary marathon in reverence to dad.”
The initial book that will be discussed in a Bowie Book Club will be a 1985 crime novel, “Hawksmoor: by Peter Ackroyd. Those who wish to join have until Feb. 1, 2018 to review a book to join a discussion. Anyone meddlesome can join a Bowie Book Club on Twitter for free.
In 2013, Bowie’s central website listed his Top 100 Books. “Hawksmoor” was on that list. However, Jones did not contend if a Bowie Book Club would stay with a list.
