Lex McAllister, a contestant on one of the most popular seasons of “The Bachelor” is dead, and authorities and her family believes it’s a suicide…
McAllister appeared on season 14 of The Bachelor, which featured pilot Jake Pavelka. According to reports, the entrepreneur from Galloway, Ohio, died Tuesday after being admitted to a hospital on Saturday from an apparent overdose on prescription pills.
Her family reportedly withdrew McAllister’s life support on Tuesday morning.
Lex’s family says she suffered from bipolar disorder and depression throughout her life. She was eliminated from the show during the first week.
‘I so appreciate the amount of laughter, fun, goofiness and love I’ve been given, ‘ she wrote. She then went on to make headlines when she spoke out about Jake’s breakup with Vienna Girardi, who won the season, and insisting the split was not Vienna’s fault. Tenley Mozlahn of Season 14 told E! News that she remembers McAllister as a “positive young lady who could light up any room”.
RIP: Gia Allemand, who came third in the same Bachelor season Lex appeared in, tragically took her life in 2013 at the age of 29.
