1 Killed In Church Shooting Outside Nashville; Alleged Shooter Arrested

One chairman was killed and 7 were wounded, including a suspect, when a gunman non-stop glow during a Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, Tenn., on Sunday morning, according to police.

By a afternoon, a Metropolitan Nashville Police Department identified a lady churchgoer who was fatally shot as Melanie Smith, 39, from a Rutherford County city of Smyrna.

The MNPD says a purported shooter is 25-year-old Emanuel Kidega Samson. “He has been expelled from sanatorium and will be charged with murder and att murder,” a dialect tweeted.

Police contend they started receiving calls about a sharpened around 11:15 a.m. Nashville Police Public Affairs Manager Don Aaron says 6 of a injured, 3 males and 3 females, are being treated during Vanderbilt University Medical Center. That includes a suspect, whose temperament has not been released. Two other victims were taken to Skyline Medical Center.

The Nashville Fire Department tweeted that all though one of a victims were over 60 years old.

Nashville Mayor Megan Barry expelled a matter expressing her condolences to a victims and their families.

The Burnette Chapel Church of Christ, that has a weekly use during 10 a.m., is located about 10 miles southeast of downtown Nashville.
